Rooted in Purpose.
Built for the Planet.

Founded in 1995, KR Papers began with a simple goal — to create high-quality paper while being kinder to the planet. What started as a passion project is today one of India’s leading paper manufacturing companies, with integrated manufacturing facilities producing over 1,35,000 TPA of eco-friendly paper made from non-conventional raw materials like bagasse and wheat straw.

Our Mission

To create an eco-friendly environment by producing paper from agro-residue, helping accelerate the world’s transition to sustainability.

Our Infrastructure

Built for Scale. Powered by Innovation.

With two state-of-the-art manufacturing units spread over 150+ acres and a growing global presence across 15+ countries, KRPL is redefining what it means to be a sustainable paper manufacturer in India.

Co-Gen Power Plant

At KR Papers, our Co-Gen Power Plant—featuring 12 MW and 18 MW steam turbines and a 2.5 MW biomass unit—makes us nearly energy-independent. By reducing reliance on the state power grid, we ensure cost-efficient, uninterrupted operations. The steam generated also powers pulp and paper production, driving self-sufficiency and sustainable growth.

Recovery Boiler

At KR Papers, our recovery boiler (capacity of 700 TBLS) converts black liquor, a by-product of pulping process, into renewable energy. This innovation powers our operations, improves efficiency, and minimizes waste—strengthening our commitment to sustainable manufacturing.

LIME KILN

Our Lime Kiln is a state-of-the-art recovery plant that transforms chemical by-products into reusable lime, powering KR Papers’ eco-friendly production. By recycling residual lime from the pulping process, we reduce waste, conserve resources, and maintain consistent quality across all writing & printing paper, copier paper, and kraft paper products.

Scaling Capacity, Strengthening Trust

With our Writing & Printing Paper and Kraft Paper plant expanded to 1,35,000 TPA, KR Papers is ready to meet rising demand with high-quality solutions for all printing & packaging needs.

These advancements ensure we continue to operate as one of India’s most responsible and future-ready eco-friendly paper manufacturers.

Sustainable Pulping Strength

At KR Papers, we utilize agro-based raw materials like bagasse and wheat straw to produce high-quality pulp through integrated facilities with a capacity of 350 TPD. This self-reliance reduces dependence on imports, ensures cost efficiency, and strengthens our commitment to sustainability.

Advanced Manufacturing Facilities

Our state-of-the-art pulp and paper units are built on principles of low emissions and high efficiency.

Effluent Treatment Plant

KR Papers operates an advanced Effluent Treatment Plant, featuring dual streams, Aerobic for Low COD and Anaerobic for High COD. The treated water irrigates nearly 2,000 acres of farmland, ensuring sustainability while supporting local communities.
